Mandurah Plein Air Artists Inc (MPAA) annual artwork sale and exhibition is now open at Miami Plaza!

The exhibition is called Approaching Landscapes and runs until Sunday 18th August.

All the artwork on display is for sale and is original in oils, pastels, acrylic and mixed media. There are 18 artists in the exhibition this year, all members of MPAA.

Clay Snowmen

Build your very own Frosty the Snowman at Winter Wonderland! In this workshop, little pixies get to shape and paint their very own Snowman (examples pictured above). Using clay, paint and sculpting tools, this is by far our most fun and hands on workshop for little pixies to get stuck into! This activity is rated the most tricky, and can be a bit messy as we are working with clay and paint. We provide aprons, and little pixies are advised to wear old clothes if they like getting messy.

Miami Plaza's Local Heroes

Celebrating the people within our local community who have gone above and beyond to serve their community. We want to honour those everyday heroes who make a significant difference in our local area. Each hero will be nominated by their fellow community members and one person will be selected to receive a Miami Plaza Prize pack valued at $500!

What does a Local Hero do?

A Local Hero could be someone who looks after a Reserve in your area, a champion and advocate for the environment, a volunteer with the local fire or emergency services, or those who give so much of their time looking after members in their community.
